Teenager Badminton Activities : Full of Energy!

On the afternoon of 16th November, under the bright sunshine, the badminton hall of Epsom Girls Grammar School welcomed over a dozen young badminton players. The atmosphere was exceptionally harmonious. The young players were either earnestly practicing, cooperating seamlessly, or simply running and playing with boundless energy. The shuttlecocks traced arcs through the air, accompanied by bursts of laughter. Some parents cheered on their children from the sidelines, while others couldn’t resist joining in, playing a few rounds with their kids and sharing in the joy of the sport.

In one corner of the court, experienced volunteers patiently guided younger children, teaching them everything from gripping the racket to swinging the racket, providing fun and repeated instruction. The cheers of the children when they successfully hit the ball were the simplest and purest joy of sports.

To ensure every child could play freely, the staff acted as the “ultimate support,” gently coordinating from the sidelines. Children who had been playing for a while would voluntarily take turns resting, and their eager peers would immediately take over. The whole process was orderly, like a well-coordinated relay race, with every little face filled with anticipation and satisfaction.

“This kind of activity is great! The children can exercise and make friends, and it puts us parents at ease. ” A parent watching from the sidelines said with a smile, echoing the sentiments of many. ” I really hope that this can be held more often in the future, so that the children have a regular place to burn off energy and socialize. “

Daren Life Society will continue this joyful journey , creating a happy space for children to sweat, gain health, and build friendships. We look forward to seeing more adorable faces on the court next time ! Let’s accompany the children as they grow up healthy and happy!

In the afternoon in Auckland, stretch and embrace the warmth——“Onehunga Community Free Yoga Class” officially starts!

On Saturday afternoon, October 4, 2025 , the first “Daren” charity fitness yoga class of Daren Life Society started as scheduled in Onehunga community, Auckland . The event was very popular and the registration was full.

At the event, amidst soft music, yoga teacher Vivi’s voice was gentle yet powerful. Given that many were new to yoga, Vivi tailored the class to beginners, offering full-body stretching and stretching. There were no complex poses, only gradual guidance. Everyone followed the teacher ‘s instructions, raising their hands, bending at the waist, and stretching. The slow movements revealed each person’s varying physical state: some effortlessly relaxed their backs, while others frowned slightly as they bent. But everyone was striving to feel the awakening of their muscles and tendons.

The proverb “One inch of muscle growth equals ten years of extended life” emphasizes the importance of muscle flexibility to health and longevity. In class , Teacher Vivi also explained that stretching the muscles and bones has real benefits , helping to promote blood circulation and enhance flexibility, thereby slowing aging.

Participants in the free yoga classes generally reported feeling exceptionally relaxed afterward. Some shared their experiences, their words filled with excitement and a sense of release. One said, “Afterward, I felt so light, like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.” Another remarked, “My first time doing the poses was n’t perfect, but I finally learned how to care for my body.” Still others lamented, “I just realized my muscles had ‘stretched.’ When I was little, it was so easy to just bend over and touch my toes. Now I have to take it slow.” Some jokingly remarked on the difficulty of the poses, but then added, “It’s a mixture of pain and joy .” This “difficulty” conceals a desire for health, a love for oneself, one’s body, and a deep concern for oneself.

Daren Life Society focus on people. People pay attention to their physical and mental health , use yoga courses and the simplest stretching to connect the warmth between people, and let everyone find the long-lost relaxation and strength in the dialogue with the body.
