On 5 April 2025, a warm and welcoming Volunteer Meeting was held at the Wesley Community Centre. Dozens of volunteers gathered together to discuss collaboration plans for the upcoming Daren Culture Event to be held on April 19th and to build up the strength of the team.
At the beginning of the meeting, the facilitator kicked off the meeting with the theme of “Daren Mutual Help”. Volunteers introduced themselves through an interactive session, and the applause and laughter at the scene quickly brought them closer to each other. Afterwards, the host introduced in detail the core concept of Daren Life Society Inc. – “People First”, why “Daren Mutual Help” is so unique, and reviewed the heart-warming stories of volunteers in past activities.
In the group discussion session, volunteers were divided into several groups according to their specialties and needs. Senior volunteers took the initiative to share their experiences, while new members actively put forward their ideas, fully embodying the spirit of “mutual help”. At the end of the activity, all the volunteers took a group photo to record this memorable moment.
Autumn sunshine poured onto the venue through the glass windows, reflecting the expectant faces of the volunteers. This warm gathering not only laid a solid foundation for the upcoming cultural activities, but also made the spirit of “Daren” shine more and more in walking together.
Two weeks from now, on April 19th, this cultural feast woven together by all of us is waiting to shine.
At that time, the founder of Daren will be present and announce the new goals of Daren, which is highly anticipated! Let’s gather together at the 2025 Daren Culture Event!
